In the 1980s, he was awarded the State Council Special Allowance Senior Engineer of the Guangzhou Light Industry Research Institute and the May 1st Labor Medal.

The original intention of Ligao's establishment

Breaking Import Monopoly and Conquering the Blank Field of Chinese Food Industry's Non- diary cream,

Before 1996, non-diary cream used for birthday cakes could only rely on imports, and the high price made birthday cakes a luxury food.
Mr. Peng Yongcheng, one of the founders of the company, chose to set sail again after retirement to conquer the blank field of China's food industry. With limited funds accumulated throughout his life, he embarked on the path of developing non-diary cream. After thousands of formula and process adjustments, he finally made a historic breakthrough in 1997- launching the first domestically independently developed and produced non-diary cream breaking the monopoly of imported non-diary cream!

The Origin of Ligao's Name

Insight into customer needs, improving the mounting patterns

A few months after the domestic non-diary cream was launched in 1997, there was a wave of dealer returns.
In order to investigate the reason for the customer's return, Mr. Peng Yuhui personally visited the bakery where the product had been used and interviewed their flower mounting masters. The feedback he received was that the amount of cream whipping was not high, the plasticity was unstable, and the flower mounting shapes such as small animals and roses were not stable. After understanding the real needs of our customers, we quickly launched a new generation of cream and won market recognition. Mr. Peng Yuhui also gained inspiration from this insight and named the brand: Ligao

In 2000, Ligao was incorporated and launched Ligao whipped cream.

2001

In 2001, Ligao launched the new fruit sauce and opened the "crystal bright fruit sauce" cake era, so that the fruit sauce cake has become a category of the industry.

2005

In 2005, the new Fruit sauce was launched to help customers solve the problem of single cake flavor, bring more varieties of fruits to achieve consumption, and promote the upgrading of the quality of birthday cakes.

2015

In 2015, Ligao and Aokun reached a strategic cooperation, and formally launched the field of frozen bakery products.

The first fully-automated Portuguese tart production line of Ligao was put into production, solving the difficulties of low production capacity and unstable quality of handmade products.

The first fully-automated sweet crust production line of Ligao was put into production, launching soft and fluffy doughnuts suitable for Chinese taste.

2016

Launched Frozen Mousse Cake in 2016. With the upgrading of shopping malls and catering channels, the demand for dessert has increased, and Ligao has timely launched frozen mousse cake, which is ready to be eaten when defrosted to meet the market demand.

2017

In 2017, Meihuang Bread Laixin Sauce application program "Angel White Bread" exploded across the country, in addition to providing sauces, more bakeries to provide a full set of programs such as product application, sales guidance, etc., to meet the needs of bakeries product innovation and promotion.

2019

Launch of Mochi products in 2019. Ligao breaks through the bottleneck of production technology and raw materials to realize mass production to meet customers' demand for stable quality and convenient operation of Mochi.

2021

In 2021, Ligao Foods was listed on the stock market and launched Swiss rolls in the same year, which became a billion-dollar single product a year later by virtue of higher-than-industry-standard automated production level, low raw material cost and high product quality, and quickly gained customers' favor.
